I've finally got a chance to travel overseas with my friends and our destination adventure is to Taiwan! I had been thinking of visiting TW for a few years since JC days. That was for other reasons...*hahaha..*. Been planning this trip since late in 2005. We were all discussing of going overseas and at that time I thought that my parents would not agree to let me go. BUT... surprisingly they allowed me to go! Was so happy then...

Been quite a while since I took a break from blogging. Did so much stuff in between these months. I went to Taiwan for holiday and I still haven't had the energy to go and blog it down. Paiseh to SZ who has been telling me to hurry up and blog it down here....
Jerm has already did his blogging over at our group blog. My oh my...he sure did a very good job of it. So much of the photos put up and so much of the things that we all did over in TW. Only thing is that now our blog takes such a long time to load hahahahaha....
Before I do my blogging of my trip in here, wanna do some general stuff 1st.
Great news for me: I finally got my new laptop! ALRIGHT! Though I gotta pay for the instalments myself..*sob no subsidy*. Its a Dell Inspiron 6400. Its a great colour! Silver generally with some pure white around the sides... Its so cool! Though the weight is slightly heavy, its still manageable. this was not the model that I intended to get in the 1st place, but after some time, it just grew on me more and more. And since there was a great offer at that time, I just went ahead and got it. So till now it has been with me for close to a month. I love it to bits! Havent had such a good time on computer for so long. I do not have to worry about whether the com will auto restart or shut down or emit weird sounds... and the keys are great to touch and type with. And so much of my desk space is saved for putting other things.... Finally I can see a clean yellow table top without the dust and huge mass of wires all over the table.... =D
Not been in the best of health lately, either flu or cough or sore throat... if not its headache. Wonder if its the weather or other reasons. So I got my lazy bag of bones up and out doing more physical activities like inline skating or jogging or swimming. Feels good to be up and about... And since I love inline skating so much I went and got myself my own pair of blades ahahahahaha.... so happy! But it also sucked my wallet dry! I spent a whooping $315 on the blades and gears... *ouch* Going to try out my new blades this coming Sunday @ East Coast.. Cant wait!! It sure feels good to own my own pair! Dun have to rent from shops again dun have to think of who was wearing the rented blades before me...*its not a good thought*...
Jogging is another activity that i'm trying to maintain... So far its been good but I will usually hurt a bit after jogging, esp when i'm walking. Got to take note of that... and mostly been jogging around my flat. Only last week I went over to Seletar reservoir to jog. its a nice place to take in fresh air and nice scenery as you jog. Lots of monkeys around too... and speaking of that, it reminded me of 2 incidents that make my so sad and furious.....
I finished my morning jog with my dad last Saturday and my dad was driving us back home. We were driving along a small road when my dad suddenly exclaimed that there was a monkey in the middle of the road. I thought it was just that a monkey was just sitting dere or something. But upon looking closer, I realise that it wasnt moving away even as our car approached. we drove beside the monkey then I realise that it was already dead and a lot of blood was flowing out from its head... It was a very painful and heart wrenching sight to behold..... Till now, the image of the monkey kept popping out everytime I think of it. The only reason we can think of for it to be lying there is that a vehicle couldn't stop in time and knock it down.... In the first place, if the vehicle is not speeding in that small road, the driver should be able to see the monkey and brake in time. Or else the driver will be in time to spot the monkey and sounded the horn... The monkey should be able to run in time.... I just feel so painful, sad and furious at that time. Even as I recall now, I'm still furious at the driver....
Another time I'm really angry is just a few days ago. I was on my way home after work and I was feeling sick due to my cold. I was going to cross the drop off area near my flat when this car came backing very fast at me!!!! Mind You: REVERSING IN A HOUSING ESTATE AREA AT VERY FAST SPEED!!! I was on to the road 1st and was sure the car wasn't moving off yet when i got off the curb... and the next thing i knew I had to jump back a few steps to get out of the car's way! I cant imagine if my reaction had been a bit slower... How can a car be reversing so fast in a HDB enclosed drop off area?? What if the person was an elderly?? Wouldn't an accident happened??? All the person did was to look apologetic and raised a hand.... Argggggg! dun wan think abt it le!
hope to start my travel blog soon....
