hello from NTU!!!! I'm currently at my hall le!!! Its a very nice place with a lot of fun pple! Found so many frens who r interested in anime and manga as me! So at this time, I'm stuck in my fren's room trying to get more anime and manga... and i din noe that there are so much other things interesting! I'm off to do more other stuff so tata!!! Tml camp start le! =)

1 week left till the start of school term. Gonna move into my new hall today. I'm gonna be staying in Hall 16 in NTU. And it's one of the 2 air-conditioned hall... which means more expensive!! Ahhh! Tml will be the 1st day of hall camp, so I tot might as well get in early one day and I dun have to wake up so early tml. Wondering if I can get used to it by tonight, if not I dunno how on earth am I gg to get to slp... There's just so much stuff to move like clothes, shoes, toiletries, entertainment and my laptop. Up till now, I dunno what I will need over there, so gonna make an early 1st 'shift' and check out the hall as well. Then gotta come home and shift the 2nd time... O.o. We got a pre-camp dinner with the seniors today so I guess wun be bored. Hope it will be fun! =) Gotta go.
Prob will have to start blogging after my camp!

What a day of release!Haven't let myself free for so long in weeks! Had a great day wif my dear Fishy! =)
We just spent the whole day at Vivo, doing nothing but eat, eat and drink to our heart's content! Carl's Jr was our first stop to grab some lunch and to catch up on each other's life since we last met. (I can't really recall when that was) Then it was off to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream! Sad to say, the ice cream was a tad too sweet for my liking though....hahhaha... Then more chatting while chilling out there...Think we talked about anything that we can think of at that moment...
Vivo is a really nice place to catch up with friends, with the huge open space at the outdoor wading pool. Today's weather was great after the heavy rain in the morning. So we just sat outdoor facing Sentosa, and chill till we just wanted to go in and find some place else to sit.
Thanks to Meiyi for showing me this great new place to have nice beer and have some nice finger food. I never realised there was such a restaurant to hang out. They served delicious potato wedges!! Yummy! We also had this nice sweet German beer that was not too heavy for gals. It had this sweet mellow taste which was not too strong for my taste. I din like the kind of bitterness normal canned beer had, but this is so different. As usual, my whole face turned red even with a little bit of drink. I just felt to free and relax and I havent had such a long chat with Meiyi for so long. It felt so good to just chat and drink. Nothing very exciting, but it still feels so relaxing and definitely a whole load off my mind. It had been a tough week for me to handle... Stressful... Taxing on the emotion... Thanks a million for being there dear!!! =) Cant wait to see you on Sunday again!

Woowoowoo...I found a new singer to like!!! Wahahaha....introducing Nicky 李玖哲! Another small eyes lah...(Ya lah Ya lah, I can already hear some eye-rolling groans from girl-friends of mine...). Din have much interest about his album then, but just happen to see his MV on SCV yesterday and heard one of his ballad... Then I got totally glued to the tube! And to YouTube... Cant believed that he can actually very well! I used to think he was more of a hip-hop artiste since he started out with Machi the first time I saw him. Lots of very touching songs in his album which are the kinds that I usually like to listen to... So prob u peeps can go try a few. Anyway, the song u guys can hear on my blog now is one of his song, the one I saw on SCV.
Other than this new-found 'addiction', nothing very good is going on for me. Someone living above my unit is currently undergoing MAJOR renovation work, and the drilling noise pollution is killing my head! It's giving me a great headache with the noise since morning. One: I can't read my books in peace,and Two: I hate headaches!! So I think i might have to spend the next few afternoons stuck either at Coffee Beans or in the library at Sun Plaza in order to read in peace. Somehow, even stuffing my ears with loud blasting music is not doing any good. Besides that, my GI-tract is having the time of it's life, tormenting me and my toilet... I shall not go into the details and I think most of you shld understand me... =) My appetite is not helping me either! O.o Think it's time to give my doc a friendly visit this week...
Oh yah! My head finally won the war against my heart: I'm off to orientation camp for freshies, mainly I'm just gg for the Hall camp. Think wat Ting said finally got thru to me hahaha.... It'll be a lot of help to get me used to school and hall life... So I'm kinda anticipating for the camp to start. I'm just hoping that I maybe... dun have to shout too much... Hahaha... So I'm enjoying my holidays to the max before I set off to school. So looking forward to KTV this Friday.... Singing lor!!!!!!! =)

Thanks to SZ, I can get to go for this yr's NDP preview! But kinda amusing to watch though cos they were kinda having it like a full dress rehearsal with their own pple to pose as celebrities and members of parliment who will be present on the actual day. Anyway, I still had quite the fun to watch the parade. Overall performance was okay for me. Not exactly super program but it was still worth watching... This yr, I finally got myself to bring a decent camera along to snap a few shots for blogging. But, I gotta say my technique is kinda bad lah, so dun mind me if u see blur stuff hahahah... I posted a few of them here, but if u wanna see more, just click on 'Photos'.
We went in at around 4.30pm, which was rather early and hot. The sun was quite strong then. Really a very small area for spectators as compared to what we had in the National Stadium. I din get the goodie bag (sad leh cos they got a really cute 'clapper-torch' in the shape of a hand). Only received a plastic bag with a bag of chips, a cream bun (which I din like so I din touch at all), a packet drink, a bottled mineral water, a raincoat, a pack of tissue and wet tissue. So we just sat there and waited for the performance to start.
Overall stage looks like this, with some floating balloons in shape of sea creatures. Kept thinking whether the stage will sort of 'move' and whether the pple on it will feel the bobbing. Well. it's still located on water mah....*shrug*
This year's mascot 'cheer' people: wearing some fish costume... I tot it looks weird and hot.

Marching contingent for this yr, seem to be of a smaller scale. The uniformed groups had coloured umbrella with them. When the National Anthem was played, they opened up their umbrellas, showing our Singapore flag. too bad we can't see it properly from where we were.

This year, we are able to see the cannon firing. I can only say it's really loud! We weren't able to see all these the previous years cos usually held outside the stadium. Kinda interesting to watch though...
This was during the marching in of the Colours. Was admiring the uniforms ahhahahaha....
An aircraft (i dunno the name for it) which showed divers jumping into the water from it. Really amazing sight as the surrounding water were splashing around like a big mist around the craft as it hovers just above the water. Then speedboats came in to pick up the divers real quick. The divers were practically 'jumping' into the boats... Woah! That's what I call fast....
This segment was mainly about showing the different kinds of cars, tanks and special vehicles that are being used for special situations. Couldn't get a lot of pics cos there were just so many pple standing up. Most of my pics ended up with pple's head in it or really blurred...
Main event started with an underwater theme. There were so many kids wearing costumes like fishes, starfish (reminded me of many little Patrick from Spongebob) etc. The starfishes were so cute!!!!!
Thought this was very nice as the sparks fell from the bridge into the water. It looks exactly like a waterfall, except its much brighter and very pretty! Behind it is actually a float in the shape of a snail (or rather what I think it looks like).
I prefer to refer to this scene as '小仙女'... hahaha... some of u might know what I'm referring about! My dear companion kept saying she like the costume a lot... I suggested making one for her then can really become 小仙女!!!!!!!! *grinz* pls dun kill me...=P Actually just a big group of girls wearing white dresses. The skirt can actually light up! On the big screen I completely dunno who the singer is.... Prob Kit Chan might be the one singing on actual day ba I guess...
Finale where all the performers gathered on stage to recite the pledge and sing the National Anthem again. I love the stage at night as there were light display and some fire display. Dunno if the lights were actually lasers as the MC mentioned lasers, but I dun see any leh...Hmmm... But with the office buildings as backdrop, the night stage was magnificient! Fireworks also erupted from the top floor of one of the office building. Cool!
Highlight of the parade and the most anticipated moment of the performance: FIREWORKS!!!! Took quite a lot of photos of the fireworks. They were beautiful! Sadly, the fireworks did not last very long and the variations were not as much as the ones we had seen from the firework festival. Still, it was good! Thumbs-up!
One of my favourite firework photo I took that night. I thought it was nice enuff with the camera I used. Well, I'm not a pro.... =) Looks good with the backdrop of the pillars used... Kinda wished I brought a better camera though... Next time with the fireworks festival I will ba!
So the night ended with dinner at Kenny Rogers at Marina Sq. Mmm... taste good! But I din eat a lot... Dunno when my appetite will return....

New song new song! Oh I love this song! Fell in love with it the first time I heard it... Not too tough to sing either! New ktv song! Hahhaah...
So bored with staying at home this week. Practically nothing to do. I got bored with internet surfing and reading the online comics. Finished my new games also... Lucky I found something new to read if not I'll really go crazy with boredom. I was already hooked on CSI shows le... Now started reading the novels as well. Not too bad but skightly tough to follow the story cos its kinda lot of forensic stuff to imagine, what the characters were doing in the labs and all... But i love it! hhahahah Too bad i din subscribe to AXN channel on SCV, if not i'll be glued to my TV set. Found new shows to watch also. Similar to CSI kind, Criminal Minds and Bones. So I'm forever looking forward to Tuesday night so i can watch all 3 at one go! Whoopee!
Still wondering if I should go for orientation camps. My head tells me I should but my heart is kinda reluctant to go.... Hai... Got my appeal letter back last week. Ganna rejected for Business course again... Business schools really dun like me man... sad... Budden still I gotta try hard mah.... Maybe still got other ways...=) Wish me-self lots of luck...
