Yummy... steamboat dinner ! Ma La (Spicy)!!
the board game we played at the cafe....
Sunday was so great! Had so much fun laughing and playing and suanning pple! Sunday was SZ's bdae and we planned a dae of games. the whole bunch of us went to a cafe where we got to play lots of games! So fun! sime of the games i had never even heard of in my life, but so fun to play! never had i ever seen so many board games too! too bad we onli got to stay dere for onli abt 4 hrs. next time i definitely gotta go dere and play the other games as well...my frens were playing this train board game tat looked very interesting, so i must at least play it once. wonder if i can buy the game...hmm...but look really expensive though...
got lots of food to eat too! its delicious! had fish, chips, chicken wings, nuggets, fishballs and some other things tat i cant remember. then had a cool and creamy drink but dun really noe wats in it (who cares as long as it taste nice rite? hee...). was so tempted to try all the food in dere...
after tat, we went off to chinatown to have steamboat dinner. woah! the dinner was so filling cos it was a buffet. dere were things like steamed buns, deep fried mantou, crab (yes...crab), meatballs, tofu, tau pok, seaweed (Mmm..chewy...), mushrooms of many kinds, chicken wings again, fish slices, meat of all kinds and so on...i tot it was an okay meal other than the 'eat all u can'. the chicken soup base was great and so was the ma la soup (spicy soup...REALLY spicy!). the whole group of us were sweating and burning our mouth wif the spicy soup. u cant drink it just like tat, but when food gets cooked in it and eaten, the feeling is SHIOK! hahahaha....
after dinner was some walking time, to digest the food ba...some how... so we went walking down chinatown, to clark quay and caught a glimpse of the 'bungee ride', but no one was taking it..(too bad, hoping to see pple play). then walked again to city hall. finally it was almost 10.30 b4 we all went home... was such a happy dae.
even though it was not my bdae, i got a souvenir frm one of my fren who just came back frm the US. bot me a deck of poker cards frm Las Vegas. SO NICE!!! i love the cards...haha.. so happy that ting u remembered that i love to keep cards...(opps...am i really the gambler in the gang??). it even got a tin box of its own to keep the cards in, so i guess my dear astro members that our next deck wun be 'cream on the rocks' anymore...hahahah
we took a lot of pictures too but i'm not sure how to post photos in here. maybe next time i will post them up if i ever figure out how to...haahaa. ting u will have to teach me!
Oh ya, most impt, SZ, HAPPY BDAE! hope u had a very happy dae and u like yur present too! and NO, we will not be buying u a 1K hp for yur next bdae....=P
